1300 Meter Competition Long Range
The 1300 Meter Competition Long Range offers a 12'x50' shooting platform with 4 lanes above on astro-turf and 4 lanes below (weather protected) shooting points to1 MOA, 2 MOA, and 3 MOA AR500 Steel targets at 200, 400, 600, 1000, 1200, and 1300 meters for responsible long-range shooters and members. Overnight accommodations are prioritized for range users. Two-hour blocks of time are available for reservation. Sign up below to reserve your session.
Special blocks of time can be arranged for 22 caliber rifle practice and pistol. Contact us directly to arrange competitions. Range is open to NRA qualified instructors providing NRA certified classes and also to one-on-one instruction sessions. See IOIRange.com for classes and events.

General Rules and Regulations
Customers may shoot any caliber up to and including the Smith & Wesson 500 on our range. They may also shoot any long guns that fire a pistol cartridge—as well as shotguns. High powered rifles (.223, 6.5mm, .338 Lapua, etc.) are encouraged and welcome. The minimum target distance that's available is 100m. No incendiary rounds.
General Rifle Range Rules and Restrictions:
DO NOT WALK ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE OTHER OPEN CONTAINERS AT ANY TIME.
New IOI shooters must qualify and display accuracy on targets from 100m-600m.
Respect, and follow the instructions of the range officer on duty.
Shooters will be on camera.
Treat all firearms as though they are loaded. Point muzzle down range at all times.
Keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target and have decided to fire.
Be sure of your target, and what is beyond it – NEVER shoot when the fields are occupied with farm activities.
Women who are pregnant are not permitted on the range.
Any person under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted to use the range, and will be asked to leave.
Ear and eye protection are required at all times while on the range.
Handmade re-loads are permitted on the rifle range.
Never go forward of the firing line unless the range is cold.
If you have a jam or malfunction that you are unable to clear, call an RSO for assistance.
ALWAYS POINT YOUR MUZZLE DOWN RANGE WHEN CLEARING A JAM.
When entering the range please take all firearms, ammo, and magazines to the firing line with muzzles pointed in a safe direction.
Magazines can be loaded behind the firing line, but firearms should be left at the firing line
When not shooting, firearms on the firing line should be unloaded, magazine removed or bolt open, and muzzle(s) pointed in a safe direction. Semi-auto – bolt locked to rest position, magazine removed.
Only one firearm may be loaded in a firing lane at a time
Only two people allowed in a firing lane at one time
Maximum three round rapid fire rule – three shots – pause – three shots – pause, etc.
No steel core ammunition of any kind is allowed.
No military tracer rounds of any kind are allowed.
Ammunition is subject to inspection—no exceptions.
Shooters will be held responsible for any damages caused by vandalism, irresponsibility, or negligence.
Shooters must demonstrate adequate accuracy. IOI personnel, the Range Safety Officer and other authorized personnel reserve the right to pull any shooters off of the range without a refund if deemed necessary.

Memberships are available for purchase starting January 1st each year and provided with priority range booking for our range year of February 1st through November 20th. Becoming a member enables you to schedule your preferred range days before nonmembers. Members also receive priority sign up for events. Included in a membership is UNLIMITED range time during normal hours of operation.

**Range is closed each year from late December until the weather breaks in Jan/Feb for Winter. Members may be allowed in for cold-weather shooting.
Weather Range Policies
Shooters can choose to shoot during rain or snow. Covered shooting points available.
Visible Lightning – Range closes immediately
Thunder – Range closes if the storm is within 5 miles.
Reschedules are available if the range closes as a result of weather delays.
If a storm looks like it may pass in a short time, shooters can make up the time at the end of the day.
